Take a Hike

The trails are littered with multi-colored leaves as fall peaks in these North Georgia mountains. This is my favorite time of year to take a hike along some of our streams and rivers, enjoying the warm sun on my face and breathing in the fresh, crisp air.

My favorite Kodiak bag accompanies me on these hikes. It carries my water, trail bars, cell phone, compass, mini first aid kit, wallet, car keys, a bird call, and my identification. Being hands-free allows me to use my trusty hiking stick and keep binoculars in hand; I don’t want to miss any close-up views of eagles or hawks that circle these parts.
